Based out of our Toronto Studio, as the Marketing Coordinator, you will support a range of marketing communication initiatives with the objective of elevating the awareness and profile of the B+H brand across Canada in support of key services, sectors, studios and business objectives. The scope of your responsibilities include event coordination and logistics, management of the awards calendar, coordination and writing of award submissions, management of the conference calendar, including pre- and post- marketing activities, CRM management, social media, research, content development and copy editing and support for business development efforts when required.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working collaboratively with a talented team of Marketing & Business Development colleagues including graphic designers, business development, proposals and communications specialists, you will work as part of a team to lead and work on primarily Toronto and Canadian initiatives, with involvement in global initiatives when required.
In addition to having 2-4 years of relevant experience, you have a post-secondary education in relevant studies, such as social media, marketing and/or business, and the skills to rely on digital analytics and measurement tools such as Google Analytics to monitor your work on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. You have a creative flare, and are accustomed to regularly using Adobe Creative Suite and web-based tools (i.e., WordPress) to coordinate social media content with your global colleagues, manage the content calendar, and provide regular updates and maintenance to our digital platforms. With this expansive tool kit, you are also able to:
- Research – Monitor trends and developments relevant to specific markets, sectors, other topics aligned with business goals
- Contribute to Content Development and Editing such as:
- Marketing material
- Conference presentations
- Social media posts
- Occasionally supporting business development initiatives and major pursuits in the form of content strategy and development, copywriting and editing
