What challenges have you faced as a woman in your industry, and how did you overcome them?
In the male-dominated industry, women’s voices often go unnoticed, let alone our presence. I’ve always had to get my opinions valued more and be louder, especially with various consultants and GC workers. However, once you stick out your neck for yourself, everything flows from there, and respect and appreciation will be earned.
What’s your idea of perfect happiness?
Set goals and find solutions to accomplish them.
What is something a well-designed building/space can’t exist without?
Preservation and attention to all kinds of details.
Who are some women in interior design you admire or are inspired by?
Eileen Gray, and the female architects of the Bauhaus school.
