B+H joins the Toronto BioBuild Collective
Sustainability at our core
In alignment with the WGBC Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment, B+H is actively innovating to reduce carbon emissions across our projects. This curiosity has led us to join the Toronto BioBuild Collective (TBC) — a collaboration of architects, engineers, researchers, and construction professionals dedicated to transforming building practices by integrating sustainable,
bio-based materials into mainstream construction.
B+H is working closely with TBC’s students and professional volunteers on targeted research into bio-based materials. These materials, sourced from renewable natural resources, are essential for enhancing environmental performance due to their inherent carbon sequestration capabilities.
We are proud to collaborate with organizations such as DIALOG, SvN Architects + Planners, Studio DEEP, MJMA, Toronto Circularity Network, and Ha/f Climate Design who all share the same vision of a low carbon future.
