Huawei Qingpu Campus Completes Construction
Construction Update
In July 2024, Huawei’s ambitious vision for a unified research and development (R&D) hub has come to life with the completion of the Qingpu Campus in Shanghai. This landmark project promises to be a game-changer, combining the company’s diverse R&D activities under one roof.
From initial sketches to the final structure, B+H played a pivotal role in shaping the most intricate section of the campus: Parcel E, also known as “Forest Town.” This innovative district boasts twelve buildings nestled atop man-made hills. This ingenious design hides underground parking, a train garage, and various utility facilities within the landscape. This minimizes the project’s environmental impact, allowing nature to flourish alongside cutting-edge technology.
