The theme for IWD 2026 is ‘Give to Gain.’ If you could go back in time and ‘give’ one piece of advice to your younger self on her first day in the industry, what would it be, and what do you think she would ‘gain’ from knowing it sooner?

The advice I would give my younger self on her first day in the industry would be to lean into collaboration. We are so much stronger when we come together as a team, and it’s both exciting and important to draw on the range of perspectives that diverse perspectives bring. It’s so easy to get lost in your own work bubble, but I think this realization would have brought more confidence in myself and my abilities earlier on.

What’s your favourite part of working at CHIL?

I feel fortunate to work with and learn from such a talented team of designers every day. Our workplace fosters a positive, uplifting environment where all ideas are valued, which makes collaboration easy and keeps the work fun.
