The interior design of Autodesk’s Technology Centre in Toronto was modernized to support a hybrid work model and consolidate the facility. Located on the third floor of the Autodesk offices in the MaRS Discovery District, the space now serves as a central hub for innovation and collaboration.

The project involved merging the Autodesk Tech Center from the first floor with the Autodesk Research Center. This involved relocating all workshop equipment to a newly configured space on the third floor, creating a unified collaborative environment. This new workshop now includes specialized areas for metal fabrication, finishing and assembly, CNC and hybrid operations, additive manufacturing, and project assembly.

This purposeful design provides innovators with dedicated workspaces and access to advanced prototyping and validation tools, encouraging them to rethink how we design the world and explore pioneering research in fields like generative design, artificial intelligence, and human-computer interaction.

By fostering a collaborative community, the Autodesk Technology Centre accelerates the development of groundbreaking solutions that will shape the future of design and manufacturing across various industries.
