B+H Welcomes New Senior Residential Experts in Toronto + Vancouver

Deepening our residential expertise to deliver innovative, value-driven design solutions across Canada.

June 14, 2021

B+H is pleased to welcome Macquinn Victoria and Soheil Khosravi Kermani, two senior residential design experts with extensive portfolios of work across Canada, to our growing residential team.

The additions of Macquinn and Soheil reflect our commitment to investing in today’s leading talent to deliver large, complex projects for our clients and help shape the future of Canada’s built residential and mixed-use environment. B+H’s integrated approach, dedication to design excellence and deep technical knowledge has resulted in collaboration with some of Canada’s largest residential developers. Macquinn and Soheil complement our growing residential design teams in Toronto and Vancouver, including our award-winning residential and hospitality interior design studio, CHIL Interior Design.

Macquinn Victoria joins our Toronto studio as a senior associate, bringing with him over 18 years of cross-sector experience including high and mid-rise residential, hospitality, retail, mixed-use and office towers. At his previous firm, Macquinn collaborated on the design and delivery of several iconic residential developments in Toronto including No.55 Mercer Condos, 8 Wellesley Condos, INDX Condos, and Grid Condos, among many others. Macquinn’s leadership in project delivery and technical expertise in the high-rise residential sector complements B+H Toronto’s Residential & Mixed-Use Team where he will be working alongside Stephanie Maignan, Senior Associate and Architectural Designer, and Robin Proctor, Associate and Architectural Designer.

Soheil Khosravi Kermani joins our Vancouver studio as a Senior Architect with over 17 years of international experience in planning and design across a broad range of sectors and building typologies including mixed-use developments, residential towers, industrial complexes, and commercial buildings. Soheil’s experience extends to projects throughout British Columbia, including the 603,200 ft2 Whalley Gateway mixed-use development in Surrey, the Millennium Northmount mixed-use development in North Vancouver, and the 100 Braid mixed-use development in New Westminster. Soheil joins Senior Design Principal Jim Huffman and the CHIL interior design team to further enhance the studio’s established residential expertise within Vancouver.

The UNITED Bldg. in Toronto is designed by B+H in collaboration with ERA Architects and is North America’s tallest heritage retention project.

Both additions come at an exciting time for our firm as we continue to grow our residential team as Canada’s housing market experiences unprecedented growth. Most recently, we are leading the design of The United Bldg. in Toronto, North America’s tallest heritage retention project. In Vancouver, we are currently leading the design of several residential / mixed-use developments including the Cambie Tower, Willingdon Rose and Little Mountain mixed use developments.
