From your perspective, how has the idea of leadership transformed, and in what ways do you believe women can play a role in reshaping and redefining leadership within the workplace?

Leadership to me means leading by empathy, collaboration, and example. In my opinion, women are natural leaders, adept at juggling priorities, empathizing, nurturing talent, and empowering their team members. Strong female leaders in a team help break barriers and serve as mentors and role models for other women within the workplace. I am fortunate to have an amazing women leader in my team, who makes everyday inspiring at work.

Could you share one piece of advice for young women who have a passion for the design and architecture industry?

Cultivate your talent to build confidence in your ability and skills. Celebrate your femininity and be your authentic self. Don’t be afraid to be the loudest in the room, speak your mind, and advocate for yourself and others who need your support.

What makes a successful team? Mutual respect, trust, and pride in the work we do.

What is something a well-designed building/space can’t exist without? People!! Spaces and buildings are just lifeless concrete and steel blocks without people to create memories and experiences around them.

What would you say to your younger self when you were an architecture student or earlier in your career? Don’t take your failures seriously, embrace them, learn from them, and move on. Build strong connections within the community, stay curious, and keep learning.
