Inspiration comes in many forms for Kate Weppler. Whether it’s in her own city or on her urban explorations abroad, Kate’s creative energy is fueled by the sights, sounds, and flavours that she immerses herself in. Kate’s personal projects offer a creative outlet to express her individual style and explore new methods of design and making. She works with other designers and craftspeople to create unique handmade pieces including furniture, lighting, clothing, and jewelry, to name a few. Being hands-on is a very important part of the design experience to Kate.
Kate’s experiences at work, and on personal design projects, have instilled the importance of team communication and collaboration to successfully translate ideas into reality. Her multidisciplinary and detailed approach to design, combined with her refined visual style, has allowed her to play a large role on projects contributing to architectural, interior and graphic design concepts.
