Artificial Islands In The Central Water

Project Photos

These Artificial Islands will provide the much-needed housing and employment opportunities for a growing Greater Bay Area focusing on this unique aquatic frontier. Our strategy for enabling development is to tread carefully into the depths of an oceanic environment that supports a system of vibrant aquatic life and coral reserves under the silent surface of the water.

The islands possess a vital link between urban form and nature through a unique ecosystem that’s specifically designed to counter any impacts that land formation might bring and also enhances the unique link between new land and the water.

Final View 7

The ecosystem is a complex matrix of aquatic environmental protection linking environments between the sea and land including a range of dedicated public parks around the island that ensure appreciation of the unique setting, and urban open spaces that create protected community recreation and relief from urban life.
