Guided by the vibrant energy of Markham, CHIL embarked on a comprehensive redesign of the entire hotel, from the welcoming lobby and reception areas to the versatile meeting spaces, guestrooms, and a refreshing update to the fitness & pool area.
Embracing a modern aesthetic with a timeless palette, the design draws inspiration from the city’s unique neighborhoods. A neutral and warm foundation serves as a canvas for pops of colors, engaging patterns, and textured materials, reflecting the rich tapestry of cultural diversity and the ever-growing influence of the tech sector.
The lobby’s design emphasizes a wooden ceiling feature, adding a touch of sophistication and warmth while guiding the eye to explore the rest of the lobby. Guestrooms provide a serene escape, embodying comfort and sophistication with a focus on durability and longevity in material choices.
