B+H was commissioned by one of the leading smart device manufacturers in China to design the interiors of their new R&D tower located in Xinchuang Technology Park in Chengdu.

In collaboration with our client, B+H transformed their vision into a vibrant, sustainable work environment equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Our design for this new workplace is inspired by the city of Chengdu, the company culture, and the surrounding nature. The 42-story tower includes a main lobby, standard office floors, executive office floors, a canteen, conference centers, showrooms, and an entertainment and relaxation center, among other spaces.

Accommodating up to 5,000 engineers and support staff, the regional headquarters for research fosters collaboration by providing an inspiring work environment that promotes the exchange of ideas. Staff can interact and learn from one another. The tower features areas for independent work, relaxation, training, galleries, and dining and offers views of the park and city.
