‘Modern Day Wilde’ is the guiding concept behind Prologue, the day to night cafe & bar adjacent to the lobby of The Dorian, an Autograph Collection.
Wilde’s sharp wit and ability to surprise inspired the whimsical and playfully designed features peppered throughout the day to night bar.
Continuing the whimsical design philosophy throughout the property, the design of the Prologue also drew inspiration from English apothecaries in the 1800’s. Modern twists of traditional design language were introduced throughout the space.
Saturated green is carried into the cafe from the lobby area paring with a beautiful deep maroon. The space provides a sense of playfulness balanced with old English flair.
